Despite the plastics industry putting forward single use plastic as being effectively safer during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is now being seen as having the opposite effect—those who are handling the contaminated single use plastics are being put at further risk. We need to shift from disposable to reusable - as a strategic plan to become more sustainable, and toxic free.
